x13apps ("we," "us," or "our") operates the QR CODEX mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

QR CODEX is designed with a privacy-first approach. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide and improve our Service.

1.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

  • QR Code Content: All QR codes you create, including URLs, text, WiFi credentials, contact information, and other encoded data
  • Creation History: Your QR code generation history and saved codes
  • User Preferences: Theme selection, language settings, and app configuration
  • Custom Assets: Logos and images you upload for QR code customization

1.2 Data We Do Not Collect

We want to be clear about what we do NOT collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers for tracking purposes
  • Usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Content of your QR codes

2. Device Permissions

QR CODEX may request the following device permissions:

  • Storage Access: Required to save and export QR codes to your device's gallery
  • Photo Library Access: Required to import logos for QR code customization and to save generated QR codes

All permissions are optional and used solely for the stated purposes. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.

3. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored locally on your device using the secure storage mechanisms provided by iOS (Keychain/UserDefaults) and Android (SharedPreferences/Internal Storage). We implement appropriate technical measures to protect locally stored data, but the security of your device is ultimately your responsibility.

4. Third-Party Services

QR CODEX integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For application distribution, updates, and in-app purchases. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
  • In-App Purchases: Processed securely through Apple/Google payment systems. We do not have access to your payment information.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties. Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data to share.

6. Children's Privacy

QR CODEX is rated for all ages and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age (or applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app functions fully without requiring any personal information.

7. International Data Transfers

Since all data remains on your device, there are no international data transfers associated with QR CODEX usage.

8. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

  • Access: All your data is accessible within the app
  • Deletion: You can delete your history and data within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all associated data
  • Portability: You can export your QR codes at any time

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date." You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
